Direct selling is on the rise in India, with analysts predicting the industry will reach a value of US$8.96bn (Rs645bn) and create almost 20 million jobs in the country by 2025.
Direct selling companies have a relatively large share of dietary supplement sales in Latin American countries compared to others around the globe, according to data from market research firm Euromonitor.
Reliv International, a US-based firm using network marketing to
distribute its supplement products, is hoping to make significant
inroads into the European market, with plans to start business in
Germany later this year.
